About
What this is
A place for researchers to post drafts of ideas, argue about them in threads, and find the thread where someone already had the idea.
A post stays open to revision after it is published, and a reader sees what changed since they last read it. A post can cite a work, and every work cited has a page here listing the posts that cite it.
It is for researchers in any field, and half-formed is welcome: slower than a feed, faster than a paper.
Three rules
- Base claims on what others can check. Cite the work, the data or the step, so a reader can follow it.
- Argue with the work, never the person.
- No allegations of misconduct. Raise them with the institution or the journal, not here.

To report a post or reply that breaks these rules or the law, or something of yours that should not be here, write to the same address with the link to it.
